Snap.fan Invitational
Snap.Fan 128 person invitational!
Consider this the official announcement of the Snap.fan invitational tournament. While other invitationals thus far have been for content creators and streamers only, that is NOT the intent of this one. There are paths for anyone to earn a spot.
The date for this is quite a bit in the future - tentatively January of 2024. We are looking to have slots earned throughout the year of 2023, culminating in this invitational. Current plans are as follows (everything is still subject to change as time goes on).
- [40] Snap.fan monthly open - top4 earn a slot, March - December (10 months, 40 total slots).
- [10] Snap.fan tournament "leaderboard" for players that do not earn top2 (see below).
- [22] Marvel Snap Battle Arena - First place in each tournament (2 per month), February - December (11 months, 22 slots).
- [10] Marvel Snap Battle Arena monthly leaderboard - There are small tournaments run daily, with points gained for placing. Each month, the top earner will receive an invite (the graphic above needs updated).
- [20] Snap Clash Tournaments - They have not yet decided specifics.
The 10 extra snap.fan tournament leaderboard slots will look at points earned by players that are not in the top-4 for each tournament. These will be summed and the top-10 players on this leaderboard will earn an invite. Since top-4 from each tournament earn a slot directly, no points are being awarded to earn this slot. Point gains are as follows:
- 5th-8th place : 5 pts.
- "Bubble Cut" : 3 pts. Bubble cut means if you entered into the tiebreaker contest (say 6-2 means you were considered for tiebreakers), then anyone who had that score was on the bubble and they will earn 3 pts.
- Figuring out details, some sort of participation (maybe a minimum number of matches) : 1 pt.
The prize pool is not yet finalized. We are hoping to attract some sponsors and/or support, please reach out if interested.
Auto-Sync
We are close to having the ability to auto-sync your account with snap.fan with no download necessary. Some features:
- Sync your account (matches, collections, decks) with snap.fan.
- Provide discarded/destroyed/deck tracker for all platforms. Live viewable on the website.
- Notify you (on the website) when variants you care about are in your shop.
- Support a game view for streamers and/or tournament broadcasts (twitch extension as well).
Stay tunes for more details.
