Nakia Bounce + Jean Grey Incoming? | Snap Back Podcast: Ep. 9 - Season 2

EVERYTHING went live this week...

These were some MAJOR elements added to the game in the last 48 hours and I think it's fair to say that they HEAVILY impacted the game.

Spotlight Caches

Hands down, the gripe here is that the Random Series 4/5 card doesn't prioritize your unowned cards. This shocked many of us and confurther confirms the notions I stated in THIS article. While Marvel Snap is still not "P2W", it is even HARDER to get a full collection that ever before (which in many ways creates the FOMO that Second Dinner incentives).

Shop Adjustments

Yay! More ways to get Collector Tokens...but it really is like one of those "Buy 10 Coffees, Get the 11th Free!" rewards cards. The increase to the store is nice...that is...if they can fix it...

Card Nerfs & Buffs

I truly believe that Evo Lockjaw took a huge hit from these changes. That, plus seeing nothing addressed in bounce means that bounce is officially the most dominant deck in the game. Oh? And then you gave us a mechanic that could now give me a 2/15 Mysterio in the process? Yeah...wow. Some of these changes are wild.

Jean Grey

Some of you may have noticed that I didn't put out a Day 2: Jean Grey Decks article this week. This was due to her bug with Goose completely messing up her data and deck usage. So, I didn't feel it was worthy of showcasing that in particular. Which leads to an interesting conversation, "Is Jean Grey any good?"
