How to Build INTO it:

Mojo

Ongoing: If both sides here are full, +6 Power.

Valkyrie

On Reveal: Set ALL cards here to 3 Power.

Punisher

Stegron

On Reveal: Move an enemy card here one location to the right.

Aero

On Reveal: The last card your opponent played moves to this location.

• Mojo should be a no-brainer. It’s his world, welcome to it. Fill it up and the +6 is a worthwhile bonus to seek after.
• Valkyrie is probably my favorite play here. As long as you have better Ongoings in this lane than your opponent, she’s going to level the playing field and allow the Ongoing abilities to shine for victory. Just make sure you give up priority before playing her.
• With Punisher bringing a 3/2+4 Ongoing stat line, he is consistent, solid, and stackable with other effects like Silver Surfer and Spectrum.
• Armor may be a clutch play if you’re not running an Ongoing deck. The last thing you want is any destruction card ruining your day because you end with three cards in that lane while your opponent stacks four weaker ones.
• Stegron finally has time to shine. Using him as a turn six play may end up being one of the most consistent plays over the next 24 hours to help ensure that lane as yours. Juggernaut can function the same here too.
• Aero seems like a good idea, but does have some risk to it. being able to read if your opponent is prepping for a single card or multi card final play could be the deciding factor if arrow is your strongest play, but when she works, she’s fantastic.
  

Brood

On Reveal: Add 2 Broodlings here with the same Power.

Mister Sinister

On Reveal: Add a Sinister Clone here with the same Power.

• I want to specifically call out Brood and Mr. Sinister here separately. In many ways, these cards may seem like an ideal combo because you can quickly take advantage with the hold priority in the lane in as early as turn three. However, without a destroy or move mechanic in your favor, these cards only hold two power and, even with maximum stacking ability is from other support cards, they may not be as strong as you want them to be in a tie-card scenario. Be careful with Cerebro-2 & Silver Surfer decks in this lane for this reason.

Aero

On Reveal: Move an enemy card here one location to the right.

Enchantress

On Reveal: Remove the abilities from all Ongoing cards here.

• OK, I know what you’re thinking. Two of the cards that build into it are two of the cards that build around it? 100%. Think about it. Aero & Stegron prevent the same moves on defense as they do on offense. Control mechanics for defense to prevent cards like Valkyrie from activating in the right locations can be crucial. The biggest way to play around this location is to control priority heading into turn six and these two cards can help with that.
• Enchantress is also a stellar turn six play here as she undoes all those ongoings your opponent is trying to capitalize on. Shut it down and take it over.

When all else fails, destroy it.

Storm

On Reveal: Flood this location. Next turn is the last turn cards can be played here.

Rhino

On Reveal: Add a Rock to your side of this location.

Scarlet Witch

On Reveal: Replace this location with a new one.

Running either Storm, Rhino or Scarlet Witch will switch the location, therefore eliminating the ability entirely.

Deck Suggestion

Moj-ongoing

• As usual, I try to play both into the mechanics of playing into location while I have the back up plan of playing around it. This deck allows for Stegron to shine to be able to control the location. If you don’t have him, no problem, you can swap in Juggernaut.
• Cosmo is key in this to prevent the ongoing’s from being removed, cards, being eliminated, or certain scaling’s to occur in the lane.
• Either way you have multiple two-card combos for victory. Ironman/Onslaught. Stegron/Mojo. Onslaught/Omega Red. etc.
